    Endocrine Nurse Update (ENU) attendees are invited to apply to present a clinical case or service development as part of the Oral Presentation Session at ENU. A select number of cases will be chosen to present. This session aims to share practice from clinical cases or service developments whilst providing an opportunity to improve presentation skills in a supportive learning environment with constructive feedback from the Endocrine Nurse panel. The Endocrine Nurse panel consists of two experienced nurses and one early career nurse.

    This session aims to help nurses navigate what can be a very difficult part of our role: engaging patients and supporting adherence. In this session we present complex case studies and will lead onto an Open Panel Discussion to explore reasons for non-adherence and lack of engagement and the tools and strategies we can use to optimise these in practice.
